Hargreaves Services PLC - Durham, England-based company that provides services to the industrial and property sectors - Completes sale of a 79-acre plot to an unnamed national retailer at its Unity joint venture located to the east of Doncaster, Yorkshire. Says the sale is the first transaction on the Unity mixed use development scheme, which it holds equally with regional developer Waystone Developments. Notes the sale, which totalled GBP25 million, was brought forward from the second half of Hargreaves' financial year ending May 31, 2022 at the request of the buyer.
"The Unity scheme is one of the most exciting developments in Hargreaves Land's portfolio and it is encouraging that our purchaser has perceived the benefit of early completion to accelerate their project delivery. This will undoubtedly further enhance the attractiveness of the Unity development to other commercial users," says Chair Roger McDowell.
