BiON PLC - Kuala Lumpur-based renewable energy services - Signs non-binding memorandums of understanding with biogas power plant developer Green Lagoon Technology Sdn Bhd, engineering and construction firm LIPP Engineering Sdn Bhd and Malaysian government organisation SIRIM Tech Venture Sdn Bhd.
Parties will formalise a partnership to set up a special purpose vehicle which will own and operate the biogas assets owned by BiON and Green Lagoon. Consortium will also explore other potential waste-to-energy opportunities.
