IN BRIEF: AVI Japan Opportunity Trust gets support for its proposals

AVI Japan Opportunity Trust PLC - investment firm - Says it has submitted shareholder proposals to Tokyo Radiator, NS Solutions and SK Kaken. All three companies are controlled by a dominant shareholder. KKR-owned Marelli owns 40% of Tokyo Radiator, Nippon Steel owns 63% of NS Solutions, and founding Fujii family owns 40% of SK Kaken. AVI's proposals relate to poor capital allocation and governance typically associated with "listed subsidiaries" controlled by a dominant shareholder. Institutional Shareholder Services recommended to vote for AVI proposals.

Current stock price: 109.50 pence

Year-to-date change: down 1.6%
