IN BRIEF: AIB sells non-performing loan portfolio to Mars Capital

AIB Group PLC - Dublin-based bank - Agrees to sell a non-performing loan portfolio in long-term default to Mars Capital Finance Ireland DAC for EUR400,000. Says the proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including the continuation of support for customer restructuring. The portfolio consists of 2,150 non-performing customer connections, with an average time in default of nine years.

Current stock price: 205.40 pence

Year-to-date change: up 40%
