EXECUTIVE CHANGES: New chairs for AIB, Restaurant Group and Supply@Me

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

AIB Group PLC - Dublin-based bank - Hires Jim Pettigrew to be non-executive chair, joining the board immediately. Pettigrew is chair of BlueBay Asset Management and last year retired as chair of Virgin Money UK PLC.

Restaurant Group PLC - Liverpool-based operator of casual dining chains Wagamama and Frankie & Benny's - Picks new chair. Hires Ken Hanna as non-executive director, starting on December 1 and taking over as chair on January 1. Hanna currently is chair of AIM-listed Arena Events Group PLC. As an executive, he was chief financial officer of Cadbury PLC, United Distillers PLC and Avis Europe PLC. Hanna replaces Debbie Hewitt, who steps down at the end of the year to become chair of the English Football Association.

CRH PLC - Dublin-based building materials - Hires Badar Khan as non-executive director, effective from Wednesday. Khan is president of National Grid US, part of National Grid PLC, and prior to that worked for British Gas-owner Centrica PLC.

WH Smith PLC - London-based books and stationery retailer - Hires Marion Sears as non-executive director, starting February 1 and replacing Annemarie Durbin, who steps down after nine years at the company's January annual general meeting. Sears was a City analyst and currently is a non-executive director of retailer Dunelm Group PLC, as well as of Fidelity European Trust PLC, Aberdeen New Dawn Investment Trust PLC, and Keywords Studios PLC.

NCC Group PLC - Manchester-based cybersecurity - Hires Julie Chakraverty as non-executive director, starting January 1. Chakraverty is founder & chief executive officer of Rungway Ltd, a workplace advice platform. She recently was a non-executive director for lender Santander UK PLC and asset manager abrdn PLC.

Frontier IP Group PLC - London-based commercialisation of intellectual property - Hires Julia King as independent non-executive director, starting Thursday. King is an engineer who worked at jet engine maker Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC for eight years. Later, she was principal of Engineering at Imperial College and vice chancellor & chief executive at Aston University. She currently is a non-executive director of AIM-listed Ceres Power Holdings PLC. Meanwhile, Michael Bourne will step down as a non-executive director at Frontier IP's December 9 annual general meeting, having served for more than seven years.

Supply@Me Capital PLC - London-based inventory monetisation platform - Hires Jim Coyle as independent non-executive chair, starting Thursday. Coyle replaces Dominic White, who stepped down in July. Coyle was financial controller & deputy finance director at Lloyds Banking Group PLC. He currently is a non-executive director of HSBC UK Bank PLC and of M&S Bank PLC, as well as senior independent director of Honeycomb Investment Trust PLC.
