DIRECTOR DEALINGS: New Synthomer Chair Johnstone Buys Shares

Synthomer PLC - Essex-based chemical company - Chair Caroline Johnstone buys 11,136 shares at 440 pence each. Last week, Synthomer confirmed Johnstone replaced Neil Johnson as chair, as first announced back in March. Johnson was chair for eight years. Newly-appointed Johnstone was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and is currently a non-executive director of Spirax-Sarco Engineering PLC.

Current stock price: 442 pence

Year-to-date change: up 25%
