(Alliance News) - Lookers PLC on Monday said Guernsey Investments Ltd, which is controlled by Non-Executive Director Tony Bramall, purchased 2.7 million shares between Wednesday and Friday last week at an average price of 45.4657 pence each.
Shares in the car dealership closed down 4.0% at 46.35p on Monday.
Guernsey Investments purchased 1.5 million shares for GBP670,794 total on Wednesday. Then, on Thursday, bought 215,000 shares for GBP98,282 followed by another 1.0 million shares for GBP479,600 on Friday. The value of all three deals was GBP1.2 million.
This announcement follows a number of recent deals, with Chief Financial Officer Mark Raban buying 50,000 shares for GBP21,750 on Wednesday last week and Non-Executive Director Stewart Counsell purchasing 220,000 shares for GBP95,713 that same day.
