DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Genus chair buys as shares sink on profit warning

Kin & Carta PLC - London-based business consultancy - Marie James Capital LLC, a holding company managed by Chief Executive Officer John Schwan on behalf of his children's estate, sells 5 million shares, a 2.9% stake, via an accelerated bookbuild run by Numis Securities Ltd and Peel Hunt LLP, Numis confirms on Wednesday. The sale at 301 pence is worth GBP15.1 million. Schwan's investment vehicle continues to hold a 1.5% stake in Kin & Carta, and this is subject to a 12-month lock-up. Additionally, he directly holds 8.0 million shares, a 4.6% stake, according to Morningstar.

LondonMetric Property PLC - invests in distribution and long-income properties across UK - Non-Executive Chair Patrick Vaughan sells 400,000 shares at 271p, worth GBP1.1 million, on Tuesday. Retains 10.3 million shares.

Genus PLC - Basingstoke, Hampshire-based biotechnology products for cattle and pig farmers - Chair Iain Ferguson and wife Catherine buy 5,000 shares at average 4,476.5 pence and 4,495.6p, worth GBP224,016, on Wednesday. Shares in Genus sink more than 10% on Wednesday after the firm reports difficulties in the Chinese pig market. Ferguson, the former chief executive of sweeteners and food ingredients firm Tate & Lyle PLC, took the Genus chair in July 2020.

Aston Martin Lagonda Global Holdings PLC - Warwick-based luxury carmaker - Non-Executive Director Anne Stevens buys 7,000 shares at GBP15.81, worth GBP110,670, on Tuesday.

Oxford BioDynamics PLC - biotechnology firm focused on discovery and development of epigenetic biomarkers - Non-Executive Director Stephen Diggle buys 100,000 shares via Vulpes Life Sciences Fund at 41.2 pence, worth GBP41,200, on Tuesday. Diggle had bought 198,004 shares on Thursday and Friday last week and 2.5 million shares on Tuesday last week. Diggle now is interested in 15.0 million shares, a 15% stake.
