Diploma looks ahead confidently after first quarter revenue growth

(Alliance News) - Diploma PLC announced on Wednesday it has seen strong revenue growth across all its three sectors of Controls, Seals and Life Sciences.

For the three months ended December 31, the company's first quarter, Diploma reported underlying revenue growth of 16%.

The London-based specialised technical products and services company explained that this was driven by organic revenue initiatives and continued demand.

Reported revenue growth was 28%. This reflected the net contributions from acquisitions and the two disposals completed the previous year, Diploma explained.

For the year ended September 30, 2021, Diploma reported underlying revenue growth of 12% and revenue of GBP787.4 million.

Diploma said that its strong first quarter performance has increased its confidence in delivering its full-year guidance.

The company said it will publish its half-year results on May 16.

Shares in Diploma were up 1.1% at 2,852.00 pence on Wednesday morning in London.
