SolGold PLC - exploration company focused on Ecuador - Says first drill hole at Porvenir project in southern Ecuador, held by subsidiary Green Rock Resourcces SA, has intersected chalcopyrite mineralisation at around 6%. Says a second hole is being drilled to fully transect the interpreted core of the system. Says a second drill rig is planned to be mobilised to Cacharposa Cree, within Porvenir, later this month. Says there is growing potential for a large, strongly mineralised porphyry copper-gold system at Cacharposa, and the company is planning a larger revised 50,000 metre drilling program.
