Cohort PLC - Reading, England-based technology firm - Announces that its subsidiary Systems Engineering Assessment Ltd has secured a five-year contract with Thales UK as part of the 15-year Maritime Sensor Enhancement Team programme. Says SEA will provide waterfront support maintenance, repairs and regulatory inspections on the towed array handling equipment at the Royal Navy's UK dockyards and overseas.
Chief Executive Andrew Thomis comments: "The award of this contract underlines SEA's position as a trusted provider and maintainer of state-of-the-art systems for naval ship and fleet protection. We are pleased to have established this important partnership with Thales UK and look forward to building on our long-standing relationship with the Royal Navy throughout this 15-year programme. Together with other recent contract wins at SEA and across the group, this announcement further enhances the visibility of our future revenues."
