Cake Box Buys New Warehouses To Help Drive Future Store Growth

LONDON (Alliance News) - Cake Box Holdings PLC on Wednesday announced the purchase of two warehouse and distribution centres for GBP1.4 million.

The two sites are in Bradford and Coventry, and have been bought using existing cash.

They will help future growth, Cake Box said, as it targets new franchise store openings for its egg-free cakes. It had 111 franchised stores as of the end of February.

Shares were 1.0% higher on Wednesday at a price of 158.00 pence each.
