LONDON, May 6 (Reuters) - The Bank of England will focus on
medium-term inflation risks rather than transitory factors,
Governor Andrew Bailey said on Thursday.
"In judging the appropriate stance of monetary policy, the
committee will, consistent with its policy guidance, as always
focus on the medium-term prospects for inflation, including the
balance between demand and supply, rather than factors that are
likely to be transient," Bailey said in a speech after the BoE
raised its forecasts for economic growth.
