(Alliance News) - Blackbird PLC on Tuesday said it has been chosen by Eleven Sports for the rapid editing and publishing of sports content to fans online.
The seller of the cloud video editing platform said the contract is for two years, during which Blackbird will be integrated into Eleven Sports' video infrastructure and used to clip, edit and publish sports content.
Eleven Sports has channels in Belgium and Portugal, Blackbird said.
"Together Blackbird and Eleven are redefining and reshaping long established business models and industries," said Blackbird Chief Executive Ian McDonough.
"We want to give our fans access to the best sporting moments as quickly as possible and Blackbird will play a big role in helping us do that," added Stevie Rowe, head of Production at Eleven Sports.
Blackbird shares were trading 3.6% lower in London on Tuesday at 14.22 pence each.
