LONDON (Alliance News) - Athelney Trust PLC on Monday said that, following their reappointment at the company's annual general meeting, Emmanuel Pohl and Simon Moore were reappointed to the board as non-executive directors with immediate effect.
Pohl and Moore used to both serve as the trust's chair, prior to being removed from the board at an extraordinary meeting on January 22.
As major shareholder of the trust, Pohl called a requisition proposing his and fellow ex-chair Moore's reappointment to the board, which was approved at the firm's AGM on April 3.
Before the meeting, Athelney Trust had urged shareholders to vote against the resolution as it said Pohl was seeking to "take control of the board".
"Your board considers this would not be in the best interest of all shareholders and would return the company to a failed formula. If you are a shareholder please vote for your current board," Athelney said back then.
Athelney shares were untraded at 241.00 pence each on Monday afternoon.
