(Alliance News) - Appreciate Group PLC on Wednesday named Director of Finance Talha Ahmed as its interim chief financial officer with immediate effect.
Ahmed will succeed Tim Clancy, who plans to leave Appreciate later this month. Clancy will now work with Ahmed to handover his responsibilities, the Liverpool-based prepaid gift card and voucher provider said.
Ahmed joined Appreciate in November last year as director of finance.
The process to find a permanent CFO is "progressing", Appreciate added.
Chief Executive Ian O'Doherty said: "Talha is a valued member of the finance team and we have full confidence that he will prove to be an excellent interim CFO, as the group continues to focus on sustained growth following last week's announcement of positive results for financial year 2022."
Shares in Appreciate were up 3.9% to 29.60 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
