LONDON (Alliance News) - APC Technology Group PLC Friday said that it has received the anticipated GBP1.0 million order for the supply of LED lighting to be installed into refrigeration units in about 500 stores of one of the UK's "major food and clothing retailers."
The order is expected to increase in value when the full 500 stores have been surveyed, APC said, adding that the contract is anticipated as part of a wider roll out of low energy lighting to the retailer.
Meanwhile, APC said that its Minimise business remains in the final stages of negotiations for orders with other "new and significant customers in various market sectors."
APC said that the placing of those orders would generate significant growth and further reduce reliance on any one customer in the next financial year.
APC shares were Friday quoted up 3.2% at 38.94 pence.
