(Alliance News) - Alba Mineral Resources PLC on Friday said the North Wales Minerals & Waste Planning Service has allowed the Clogau-St David's gold mine underground bulk sampling and drilling programme to proceed.
The mineral exploration and development company with gold asset in Wales said is now in the process of mobilising contractors to site for a start date on or around September 1.
However, Alba noted that the consent granted by the local government does not cover its planned surface trenching programme scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2020.
The stock closed 25% higher at 0.088 pence each on Friday in London.
