AIM WINNERS & LOSERS: Omega Diagnostics falls; Venture Life sales up

Mon, 31st Jan 2022 10:55

(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Monday.

----------

AIM - WINNERS

----------

Venture Life Group PLC, up 28% at 48.00 pence, 12-month range 27.00p-105.00p. The maker of self-care products expects to report a revenue rise of 8.3% to GBP32.6 million in 2021 from GBP30.1 million in 2020. Revenue increased by 35% to GBP18.7 million in the second half from GBP13.9 million in the first half. The Berkshire-based company develops products such as Dentyl mouthwash and Rosa Calma rosacea treatment range.

----------

Next Fifteen Communications Group PLC, up 12% at 1,215.00 pence, 12-month range 600.00p-1,350.00p. The media and marketing firm says revenue surges 34% in both the fourth quarter and the full year, which concludes on Monday. Results are ahead of market expectations and set up Next Fifteen for a "positive start to our new financial year", despite tough comparatives.

----------

AIM - LOSERS

----------

Omega Diagnostics Group PLC, down 26% at 7.86p, 12-month range 6.75p-117.98p. The Alva, Scotland-based medical diagnostics company confirms it is in talks with investors over a possible equity raise, following "recent online speculation". Omega says any cash raise will come at a discount but adds there is "no immediate need to raise additional capital". Shares hit the 12-month low on Monday.

----------

Tanfield Group PLC, down 10% at 2.02p, 12-month range 1.90p-3.96p. The investment firm says a delay by investee Snorkel in producing documents in US legal proceedings means a trial will be delayed. The US trial window is not expected to begin until August at the earliest. Back in October 2019, Tanfield said both Snorkel and and SKL Holdings LLC filed a summons and complaint against Tanfield. Tanfield has a 49% stake in Snorkel under its joint venture with Xtreme Manufacturing LLC. In November 2018, SKL exercised a call option for Tanfield's Snorkel interest at an option price of nothing. SKL also claimed it did not have to pay the priority amount and preferred return on the Snorkel stake. Tanfield disagreed, rejecting the call option notice's validity.
