Advanced Oncotherapy reshuffles executive roles

(ShareCast News) - Advanced Oncotherapy has reorganised its executive roles as it focuses on operational functions as well as ongoing sales and business development.The AIM-listed company said its executive chairman Michael Sinclair will have his role expanded to include chief executive officer, while current chief executive officer Sanjeev Pandya will become executive vice president for global business development.Both men will remain on the board.Chief financial officer Nicolas Serandour's role will change to chief operating and financial officer.The changes follow the development of the company's first LIGHT system and the recent industrialisation agreement with Thales."The agreement with Thales marked a shift in the business from just focussing on the development of our first LIGHT system, to the ongoing commercial roll-out of our game-changing technology," said Pandya."The future commercial development of the business will be critical to the long-term success and value creation within the Company and I am delighted to be focussing my skills on global sales for the LIGHT system and general business development."Shares in the company were up 0.1p (1.43%) to 7.1p at 0857 GMT.
