Advanced Oncotherapy appoints COO

Advanced Oncotherapy has officially appointed Sanjeev Pandya as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and as an Executive Director.Pandya had been acting as COO but has now been taken on permanently for the role with immediate effect. The 45-year-old, who has practised as an orthopaedic surgeon in the NHS in the UK and in developing countries, has previously worked as a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company and spent two years at Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals division before joining Lehman Brothers as an investment banker in healthcare mergers and acquisitions. More recently, he has worked as an independent consultant in Russia and at Bupa in London. "Sanjeev's background and commercial experience will add great value to the executive team that he leads as we translate our technology into real world commercial success," said Chairman Lord Evans.
