Halfords Group PLC, up 15% at 320.00 pence, 12-month range 227.50p-441.80p. The car parts and bicycle retailer raises guidance after robust interim performance. For the six months to October 1, revenue rises to GBP694.8 million from GBP638.9 million last year and pretax profit jumps to GBP64.3 million from GBP55.4 million. Halfords also reinstates dividend, declaring interim payout of 3p. Halfords raises financial 2022 underlying pretax profit guidance to GBP80 million to GBP90 million, up from previous guidance of above GBP75 million.

Sabre Insurance Group PLC, up 5.3% at 201.50p, 12-month range 184.20p-290.00p. The motor insurance company signs agreement with MCE Insurance to become the exclusive underwriter for policies issued, effective immediately. Says the agreement provides a unique opportunity to enter a new market at scale.

XPS Pensions Group PLC, up 4.5% at 139.00p, 12-month range 115.00p-.153.40p. The London-based pensions consultancy has been selected by BT Group PLC to support ITS in-house pensions team and advise on actuarial and investment matters and the ongoing evolution of BT's pensions strategy. XPS Pensions provides no financial details for BT pensions contract. The former state telecommunications monopoly has the UK's largest company pension scheme.

BATM Advanced Communications Ltd, up 1.8% at 88.57p, 12-month range 78.00p-124.00p. The data and telecommunication products provider wins cyber security contract worth USD3.5 million from " long-standing defence department customer" and expects to receive the full value in 2022.
