(Alliance News) - Seneca Global Income & Growth Trust PLC said Tuesday it has declared a third interim dividend of 1.68 pence per share, for the financial year ending April 30 .
The company said the payment of 1.68 pence represents a 2.4% increase on the 1.64 pence per share paid in respect of the same period last year.
"It is the board's intention, barring unforeseen circumstances, that it will at least maintain the quarterly dividend rate of 1.68p per share for the full year to April 30," the company said.
The dividend will be payable on March 20 to ordinary shareholders on the register on February 28, ex-dividend date February 27, the company said.
Seneca Global shares were trading 0.8% lower in London at 175.36 pence each on Tuesday.
