SINGAPORE, Aug 20 (Reuters) -
* Royal Dutch Shell has bought a Russian Sokolcrudecargo offered by Indian explorer ONGC Videsh via atender at a higher premium than earlier deals, two trade sourcessaid on Monday.
* The oil major paid $3.80-$3.90 a barrel above Dubai quotesforthe cargo loading on Oct. 11-17, said the sources. They declinedto be identified as they were not authorised to speak withmedia.
* ONGC last sold a Sokol cargo loading on Oct. 1-7 to ENOCatabout $3.10 a barrel above Dubai quotes.
* Separately, ExxonMobil did not award a tender to sell atleastone of three Sokol crude cargoes loading on Oct. 7-12, 17-22 andOct. 28-Nov. 2 as it chose to process the oil at its ownrefineries, the sources said.
