* Norway's pipeline gas exports total 254 mcm/day * Statoil adds new compressor at Kvitebjorn field OSLO, Sept 22 (Reuters) - Norway's pipeline gas exports to Britain fellsharply from last Friday's average as deliveries were diverted to France aheadof planned maintenance at Dunkirk terminal, data from gas system operator Gasscoshowed. Flows through the Langeled pipeline, Britain's main subsea gas import route, were down to 25 million cubic metres (mcm) per day from 34 mcm/day on Friday. "We expect Langeled flows to remain at these levels towards end ofSeptember. Potentially, there could be a small increases on Sep. 23 as Dunkirkterminal goes into a one-day maintenance and Sep. 25 which marks the end of theongoing maintenance at Kollsnes and Troll gas field," analysts at ThomsonReuters Point Carbon said. Norway's Statoil said on Monday it had installed a new compressorat Kvitebjoern field to increase gas and condensate output by about 220 millionbarrels of oil equivalent, equivalent to an output from a medium-sized field, and to prolong the field's lifetime to 2035 from 2027. Kvitebjorn delivers gas to the Kollsnes gas processing plant which sends itto customers in Britain and continental Europe.
