BAGHDAD, Aug 23 (Reuters) - Iraqi Oil Minister Jabar Alial-Luaibi on Tuesday asked foreign oil companies to increase oiland natural gas production and exports in order to maximise theOPEC nation's revenue, ministry spokesman Asim Jihad toldReuters.
Luaibi, who took over the ministry earlier this month, helda meeting in Baghdad with oil companies operating in Iraq.
"The minister reaffirmed support for the operations ofinternational companies in order to increase the production andexport rates of crude oil and natural gas," Jihad said.
