* Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), a Nigeriansubsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell Plc, shut down theTrans Niger Pipeline (TNP) exporting Bonny Light crude oil onJan. 3, a company spokesman said.
* The shutdown followed a "fire incident" on the line inOgoniland, the spokesman said.
* Bonny Light exports had been planned at 139,000 barrelsper day (bpd) in January. The TNP pipeline reopened on Oct. 28last year after a month-long shutdown related to a fire.
