Gulf Marine Services PLC - United Arab Emirates-based lift boat company - Appoints Alex Aclimandos as chief financial officer with immediate effect, replacing Andy Robertson after a year in the role and 14 years in the company. Aclimandos will be joining from conglomerate Qatari Investors Group, where he was also CFO.

Eleco PLC - London-based architecture and construction software - Appoints Rose Clark as interim chief financial officer, replacing Robert Tearle after a year in the role. Clark was most recently chief financial officer for insurance advisory firm Partners&. Eleco is still looking for a permanent CFO.

Oriole Resources PLC - exploration company operating in west Africa - Appoints Eileen Carr as non-executive chair with effect on Thursday next week. She will be replacing John McGloin, who is stepping down to focus on his new role as CEO at Toronto-listed Diamond Fields Resources Inc.

nanosynth Group PLC - digital monitoring and safeguarding systems manufacturer formerly known as Remote Monitored Systems - Appoints Andrew Stedman as chief financial officer and Peter McNamara as chief operating officer with immediate effect, with both appointments being non-board roles.

essensys PLC - London-based software and cloud services for flexible workspace industry - Appoints James Lowery as chief executive officer of its UK & European business, with immediate effect. He joins from FTSE 100 property development and investment firm British Land Co PLC, where he co-founded its workspace offering Storey in 2020.

Pioneer Media Holdings Inc - Vancouver, Canada-based e-sports and mobile games investment company - Appoints Jim MacCaullum as chief financial officer, replacing Andrew Stewart. MacCullum will be joining from Toronto-listed mobile games developer East Side Games Group, where he has been CFO for a year since 2021.

IN BRIEF: Oriole says infill soil sampling restarts at Mbe gold project

Oriole Resources PLC - Gold and base metal explorer focused on West Africa - Finds 256.74 grammes of gold per tonne in its Mbe gold project in Cameroon. Says infill soil sampling has started at MB-01, and adds that infill soil sampling is also planned over the wider 12.5 kilometre-long zone of soil anomalism at Mbe, to provide greater data resolution. This will commence later in the first quarter of 2024. Chief Exeuctive Officer Tim Livesey says: "We are pleased to see the restart of work at Mbe, where we believe we have identified targets indicative of a corridor of gold mineralisation which runs across all five of our Eastern CLP licences. As a potential new gold district, early indications from Mbe suggest a huge opportunity is developing in this prospective area of Cameroon."

IN BRIEF: Oriole Resources: AGEM completes six-year Senala earn-in

Oriole Resources PLC - Gold and base metal explorer focused on West Africa - Says that AGEM Senegal Exploration Suarl has completed its six-year earn-in period at the company's Senala gold joint venture. AGEM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Managem Group, a Casablanca, Morocco-based mining company. Managem took control of Senala in April 2023, after acquiring AGEM. Oriole's interest in the project is held through its 85% interest in Stratex-EMC Sarl, a holding vehicle for the Senala exploration licence. Managem confirmed that, since the 2018 option agreement was signed, AGEM has spent around USD5.8 million on the Senala project. As a result, AGEM's ownership of the Senegalian venture is estimated to be around 59%.

Oriole Resources PLC - west Africa-focused gold exploration company - Notes updated inferred mineral resource estimate for Bakassi zone 1 at its 82.2%-owned Bibemi orogenic gold project in Cameroon. Says MRE is 375,000 Troy oz gold grading 2.30 grams per tonne. Chief Executive Officer Tim Livesey comments: "We have been pleased to see the maiden resource support this pit expansion and deliver not only additional tonnes, but also at a higher grade. As we progress toward our fifth phase of drilling at Bibemi, with our partners BCM, we look forward to further expansion of the Bakassi zone 1 resource.
