IN BRIEF: Cineworld names National Express Director Steel as non-exec

Cineworld Group PLC - Brentford, UK-based cinema company - Names Ashley Steel as an independent non-executive director, with effect from the start of April. Steel will also become a member of the audit and remuneration committees on appointment. Steel is a former vice chair and member of the UK and European boards of KPMG. Until February 2021, Steel was a non-executive director of GoCo Group PLC. Currently, Steel is a non-executive director & chair of the remuneration committee at National Express Group PLC.

Current stock price: 112.20 pence, down 8.0% on Monday

Year-to-date change: up 75%
