Novacyt to supply UK govt with Covid-19 tests

(Sharecast News) - Healthcare company Novacyt said it had signed a contract with the UK Department of Health to supply its Covid-19 polymerase chain reaction test.


Novacyt said on Monday that under the terms of the agreement it would supply its Covid-19 test for an initial term of six months, starting from May 4, and had initially committed to supplying 288,000 tests per week.

As of 0945 BST, Novacyt shares had climbed 8.98% to 403.22p.
