(Alliance News) - Management Resource Solutions PLC, a civil and earthworks company, said Thursday that it has appointed Robert Hackett as non-executive director.
Hackett has extensive experience across a variety of sectors, particularly in the mining and energy industries, where he has held various senior executive positions, the company said. He formerly served as chief executive officer of MB Petroleum Services and Century Drilling.

His breadth and depth of experience in helping natural resources companies transform their operations and his proven track record in driving operational cost reductions will be invaluable to MRS. His appointment further strengthens our board as the company continues to make good progress on its growth path," said Management Resource Chief Executive Paul Brenton.
Shares in Management Resource were trading 9.8% higher at 2.58 pence each on Thursday afternoon.
