(ShareCast News) - Shares in supply chain specialist Wincanton rose 3.7% to 188p after the company announced a brace of deals with Kingfisher DIY unit B&Q. The company said it had won a new five-year contract to manage all six of B&Q's national distribution centres. It already runs one of the centres, and is taking on the extra five.The second deal is an extension of an existing arrangement that will see Wincanton deliver B&Q kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms across the UK.Wincanton said the new partnership "will aim to increase cost efficiencies" across the whole retail distribution network.
