Former Imagination Technologies Boss Leaves 7digital, Toumaz As Well

Tue, 09th Feb 2016 09:51

LONDON (Alliance News) - 7digital Group PLC, a digital music and radio services company, on Tuesday said Hossein Yassaie has resigned as a non-executive director, one day after he stepped down as chief executive of Imagination Technologies PLC.

"We would like to thank Hossein for his years of service to 7digital. His contribution and experience have been invaluable to the company," Don Cruickshank, non-executive chairman of 7digital, said.

On Monday, Imagination Technologies issued a profit warning, as the chip-designer reignited concerns over the slowing semiconductor market. Andrew Heath, an Imagination Technologies non-executive director, was named interim chief executive in place of Yassaie.

Also on Monday, Yassaie resigned as a non-executive director of AIM-listed Toumaz Ltd, a wireless semiconductor technology company.

Shares in 7Digital were down 12% at 12.50 pence on Tuesday morning.
