April 26 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks on the move on Friday:

WALL STREET DIPS AFTER DATA; AMAZON DRAGS

Stocks slipped after data showed the pace of economic growthfell short of expectations and a separate report on consumersentiment showed a drop from the previous month. Amazon.com shed5.6 percent to $259.20 as the biggest drag on both the S&P 500and Nasdaq 100 indexes. The Dow Jones industrial average gained 32.33 points, or 0.22 percent, to 14,733.13. The Standard& Poor's 500 Index shed 0.66 points, or 0.04 percent, to1,584.50. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 8.17 points,or 0.25 percent, to 3,281.81.

** CHEVRON CORP, $120.06, up 1.3 pct (1110 ET)

The second-largest U.S. oil company posted a 4.5 percentdecline in quarterly profit on Friday, pinched by weaker oilprices and work at its U.S. refineries.

** PFIZER INC, $30.00, down 0.8 pct (1110 ET)

European regulators declined to approve marketing ofPfizer's new rheumatoid arthritis treatment Xeljanz, citing therisks of the drug compared with its potential benefit, thecompany said on Thursday.

** AMAZON.COM INC, $255.52, down 7 pct (1111 ET)

Revenue growth slowed in the first quarter as the world'slargest Internet retailer struggled overseas, but margins jumpedon lower shipping expenses and the expansion of more profitablenew businesses.

** STARBUCKS CORP, $59.77, down 1.2 pct (1111 ET)

It reported higher quarterly profit on Thursday that matchedWall Street estimates and it raised its full-year earningsforecast. But revenue was slightly below analysts' estimates.

** TYCO INTERNATIONAL LTD, $32.01, up 3 pct (1111ET)

The fire safety and security systems maker reported anadjusted quarterly profit ahead of Wall Street estimates asunderlying margins rose.

** THERAVANCE INC, $34.71, up 12 pct (0936 ET)

The company plans to split into two publicly traded U.S.companies, separating some of its most advanced respiratorydrugs under development with GlaxoSmithKline Plc fromits other biopharmaceutical operations.

** DYAX CORP, $3.06, down 26 pct (0952 ET)

The biopharmaceutical company reported abigger-than-expected quarterly loss on slowing sales of its drugKalbitor, which treats a rare immune system disorder. Dyax'sforecast for full-year sales also fell well below analysts'estimates. Needham, Jefferies and Leerink Swann cut their pricetargets on Dyax stock Friday morning.

** ABAXIS INC, $41.03, down 8 pct (1001 ET)

The maker of blood analysis systems on Thursday reportedfourth-quarter revenue marginally below analysts' esitmates, asmedical sales slowed, overshadowing a bigger-than-expectedprofit. Canaccord Genuity on Friday cut its price target on thestock to $37 from $40, citing weakness in medical sales andpressures in the veterinary market.

** CERNER CORP, $96.57, up 5 pct (1009 ET)

The health care IT company's first-quarter profit beatanalysts' expectations, helped by a high level of bookings.Cerner's full-year adjusted profit and revenue forecast were inline with estimates.

** MERIT MEDICAL SYSTEMS INC, $10.02, down 9 pct(1010 ET)

The medical device maker's first-quarter results missedanalysts' estimates, hurt by the medical device tax and expensesrelated to the recent Thomas Medical buy, and the companyforecast full-year results below expectations. "We believe theworst of the storm is over, but a substantial amount of work andeffort remain," Merit's Chief Executive Fred Lampropoulos saidon Thursday.

** ANACOR PHARMACEUTICALS INC, $6.87, up 8 pct(1022 ET)

The biopharmaceutical company priced a public offering of3.1 million common shares at $6.39 per share.

** DECKERS OUTDOOR CORP, $54.15, down 8.8 pct (1017ET)

The shoe maker, known for its UGG boots, on Thursdayforecast a current quarter loss of about $1.10 per share.Analysts on average were expecting a loss of 96 cents per share,according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.

Both Canaccord Genuity and ISI Group said investors weredisappointed with the unexpected increase in first-quarterinventories and the second-quarter guidance.

** VCA ANTECH INC, $23.29, up 8 pct (1011 ET)

The animal healthcare company on Thursday reportedfirst-quarter profit that beat market estimates, helped byimproved margins in its laboratory business segment.

** SILICON MOTION TECHNOLOGY CORP, $10.24, down 11pct (1006 ET)

Lazard Capital Markets cut its rating to "neutral" from"buy" on the semiconductor maker's stock, after the companyreported lower-than-expected first-quarter adjusted profit onThursday.

** ITT EDUCATIONAL SERVICES INC, $18.37, down 8 pct(1002 ET)

Compass Point cut its rating on the for-profit educationprovider's stock to "sell" from "neutral," according to thewebsite Benzinga.com.

** AUTOLIV , $76.04, up 7.2 pct (1025ET)

The world's biggest maker of car safety equipment such asseatbelts and airbags was slightly more optimistic about core2013 sales growth and stuck to its profitability goal afterChina helped compensate for a drastic European downturn.

** NOMURA HOLDINGS , $8, up 2.6 pct (1023ET)

Japan's largest brokerage reported its highest quarterlyprofit in seven years on Friday as it cashed in on the surge indomestic shares and booked a one-off gain on the sale of aproperty affiliate's stock.

** FEDERATED INVESTORS INC, $22.43, down 4.3 pct(1035 ET)

The asset manager reported a decline in quarterly revenuetied to fees it has waived on certain money market funds.

** AON PLC, $59.52, down 3 pct (1012 ET)

The insurance broker reported a first-quarter profit thatnarrowly beat Wall Street estimates, but softness in operatingmargins at its human resources solutions business continued.

The company has said investments in its HR solutions unit,which provides consulting and outsourcing operations forcompanies, would start to pay off towards the end 2013. "We'regoing to see benefits (in the financials) particularly as wemove into the third and fourth quarter of this year," chiefexecutive Greg Case told Reuters.

** WEBSENSE INC, $16.25, up 6 pct (1017 ET)

The online security firm reported better-than-expectedfirst-quarter results and said its seeing an increased salespipeline for the second quarter and the rest of the year.

** CONSTANT CONTACT INC, $14.98, up 17 pct (1030ET)

The online marketer on Thursday reportedbetter-than-expected first-quarter results on higher demand forits services, but forecast second-quarter results belowestimates. Two brokerages cut their target price on thecompany's stock.

** KEY ENERGY SERVICES INC, $6.19, down 13 pct(1040 ET)

The oilfield services provider reported a loss in the firstquarter, compared with a year-earlier profit, due to sluggish North American drilling as gas prices remain weak. Reduceddrilling at Key Energy's largest customer in Mexico broughtinternational revenue down 12 percent, the company said.

** COBRA ELECTRONICS CORP, $2.94, down 17 pct (1043ET)

The communications gear maker reported a net loss in thefirst quarter, compared with a profit, a year earlier, blaming aweak global economy. Cobra posted a net loss of $1.5 million or23 cents per share, in the first quarter, compared with a netprofit of $339,000 or 5 cents per share, a year earlier.

The stock, trading more than six times its average 10-dayvolume, was one of the top percentage losers on the Nasdaq.

** MICROSEMI CORP, $21.82, UP 10 PCT (1038 ET)

The semiconductor maker on Thursday reportedbetter-than-expected second-quarter results on lower costs, andforecast third-quarter adjusted profit largely aboveestimates.

** ACCO BRANDS INC, $6.53, down 5 percent (1031 ET)

The office products retailer reported muchlower-than-expected quarterly results as computer product salesfell 12 percent and demand in North America for other officestationery fell.

** KBR INC, $30.57, up 3.6 pct (1030 ET)

The engineering company on Thursday reported asmaller-than-expected decline in quarterly earnings and improvedprofit margins as it worked hard at turning around some of its"problem projects."

** ITRON INC, $38.51, down 13 pct (1006 ET)

The power meter maker reported lower-than-expected quarterlyresults, hurt by lower revenue from the energysegment.

** DOLBY LABORATORIES INC, $33.95, up 5 pct (1052ET)

The audio technology licensor on Thursday reportedsecond-quarter results above analysts' expectations and forecastthird-quarter adjusted profit above estimates.

** BEBE STORES INC, $5.16, up 7 percent (1018 ET)

Brokerage Janney Capital markets rased its rating on thewomen's-apparel retailer stock to "buy" from "neutral," citingincreased confidence in the new leadership, an improved productline in sync with this year's fashion trends and betterinventory management.

** UNISYS CORP, $18.42, up 7 pct (1046 ET)

Brokerage Susquehanna upgraded the IT consulting company to"positive" from "neutral," saying that the company has a stablebacklog and said the company could buy back 5 percent of itsshares. Analyst James Friedman of Susquehanna also said thesecond quarter is seasonally a strong one for the company. Heraised his price target on Unisys' stock to $21 from $19.

The stock was one of the top percentage gainers on the NewYork Stock Exchange at 1056 ET.

** EXTREME NETWORKS INC, $3.25, up 6 pct (1030 ET)

The network gear maker named Charles Berger chief executive,succeeding Oscar Rodriguez who has resigned after three years atthe helm.

Berger was previously the CEO of privately held softwareanalytics company ParAccel.

** MAXIM INTEGRATED PRODUCTS INC, $31.04, down 6pct (1014ET)

The chipmaker on Thursday reported better-than-expectedthird-quarter profit on higher revenue. J.P Morgan and oneanother brokerage raised their target price on the chipmaker'sstock.

** NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS CORP, $27, down 11 pct(1039 ET)

J.P. Morgan Securities cut the graphical applicationsoftware and modular hardware maker to "neutral" from"overweight," citing deterioration in its earnings outlook andslowing growth in its largest customer.

The company's first-quarter profit beat analyst'sexpectations, but revenue lagged estimates. It earned 21 centsper share on a non-GAAP basis on revenue of $286 million.Analysts on average had forecast 18 cents per share on revenueof $287.8 million, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.

** BASIC ENERGY SERVICES INC, $13.01, up 3 pct (1055ET)

Global Hunter upgraded the oilfield services provider'sstock to "buy" from "accumulate," citing its "commendable"performance in the first quarter amid a slowdown in overallonshore drilling activity in North America. "Despite weaker thanexpected demand, pricing remained essentially unchanged from theyear-end rate structure," said Basic Energy Chief Executive KenHuseman, after the company reported a net loss compared with anyear-earlier profit.

** DRESSER-RAND GROUP INC, $54.26, down 6 pct (1043ET)

The rotating equipment and aftermarket parts supplierreported a better-than-expected quarterly result, but saidbookings were down 19 percent for the first quarter comparedwith a year ago, mainly due to lower new unit bookingsreflecting client delays in placing several major orders. Thecompany reiterated its full year operating income guidance butsaid it could be towards the lower half of the range.

** AXIS CAPITAL HOLDINGS LTD, $44.26, up 4 pct (1040ET)

The Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer reportedbettter-than-expected quarterly profit, driven by premium growthin both its insurance and reinsurance divisions. BrokerageRaymond James raised the company's stock to "outperform" from"market perform," the flyonthewall.com reported.

** PENNYMAC MORTGAGE INVESTMENT TRUST, $24.38, up2.5 pct (1023 ET)

Brokerage KBW raised the company's stock to "outperform"from "market perform," saying strong earnings from thedistressed portfolio, helped the mortgage REIT to beatestimates.

** USG CORP, $26.22, down 1 pct (0936 ET)

RBC Capital Markets cut its rating on the building productsmaker's stock to "outperform" from "top pick," and said thoughit continues to have a favorable view of the company'shigh-margin ceiling grid business, demand would remain choppy.

** D.R. HORTON INC, $25.97, up 5.8 pct (0937 ET)

** LENNAR CORP, $42.15, up 0.5 pct (0937 ET)

D.R. Horton, the No.1 U.S. home builder reported a 173percent jump in quarterly profit and said the spring sellingseason was off to a strong start. Record-low interest rates andrising rents have prompted Americans to buy homes, leading toshortage of new houses.

Homebuilder Lennar's stock was also up on the news.

** PULTEGROUP INC, $20.95, up 0.7 pct (0937 ET)

The No. 2 U.S. homebuilder reported a better-than-expectedquarterly profit on Thursday as its strategy of selling fewerhomes at higher prices paid off. [ID;nL3N0DC8SL]

** CIRRUS LOGIC INC, $18.03, down 8 pct (0938 ET)

The audio chipmaker on Thursday reported fourth-quarterresults above analysts' expectations, but brokerage Needham &Company cut its target price on the company's stock, citinglower revenue from Apple than "previously anticipated."

** LAZARD LTD, $32.89, down 0.8 pct (0938 ET)

The investment bank reported a 40 percent fall infirst-quarter profit, earning less from its financial advisorybusiness in a subdued merger and acquisitions market.

** TRANSCANADA CORP , $48.28, down 1 pct(0939 ET)

Canada's largest pipeline company reported a 27 percent risein first-quarter profit, and said it now expects its Keystone XLpipeline to be in service in the second half of 2015.

** BAIDU INC, $85.39, down 7.5 pct (0939 ET)

China's largest search engine will increase marketingexpenditures for the rest of the year to counter competitionfrom rival Qihoo 360 Technology, which may further putthe brakes on profit growth.

** COINSTAR INC, $58.50, up 6.3 pct (0939 ET)

Coinstar raised its full-year adjusted profit forecast ONThursday as it bets on a slate of movies scheduled to bereleased in the third quarter to boost its Redbox video rentalbusiness.

** PERKINELMER INC, $30.31, down 12 pct (0940 ET)

The maker of scientific instruments, diagnostic equipmentand environmental safety monitoring products on Thursdayreported lower-than-expected first-quarter profit and decreasedits full-year forecast as difficult economic conditions and astronger dollar hurt sales in Europe and Japan.

** ECHO GLOBAL LOGISTICS INC, $18.29, down 4 pct(0940 ET)

The logistics company cut its 2013 earnings forecast tobetween 78 and 84 cents per share from between 82 and 90 cents,and lowered its revenue outlook to $900 million to $940 millionfrom $940 million to $980 million.

Analysts on average were expecting earnings of 85 cents pershare on revenue of $960.6 million, according to Thomson ReutersI/B/E/S.

** J.C. PENNEY CO, $16.00, up 5 pct (0940 ET)

Billionaire investor George Soros reported a 7.9 percentpassive stake in the struggling department store chain onThursday.

** FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTOR LTD, $15.49, up 6.5 pct(0941 ET)

The chipmaker reported a much smaller-than-expectedfirst-quarter loss and forecast upbeat second-quarter revenue,as demand from its Chinese customers improved.

** EXPEDIA INC, $60.92, down 6.2 pct (0941 ET)

The online travel agency reported a higher-than-expectedfirst-quarter adjusted profit, but warned of a lower full-yearprofit from its discount travel website Hotwire due to highercar rental rates and increased competition.

** MICROS SYSTEMS INC, $42.10, down 3.3 pct (0941ET)

The company, which makes data management systems forretailers and hotel chains, reported much weaker-than-expectedthird-quarter results, as hardware sales grew a lacklustre 2percent and software sales declined. Micros also cut itsfull-year outlook.

** VERISIGN INC, $44.29, up 4 pct (0942 ET)

The issue of .com and .net Internet domains names reported abetter-than expected quarterly profit as revenue rose 15percent. Excluding items, the company earned 58 cents per share,on revenue of $236 million. Analysts expected an adjusted profitof 54 cents per share and revenue of 232.6 million, according toThomson Reuters I/B/E/S.

** LDK SOLAR CO LTD, $1.26, down 1.6 pct (0944 ET)

The indebted Chinese solar panel maker on Friday said itwould sell 25 million shares to Fulai Investments Ltd for about$26 million to fund its operations. Fulai will pay $1.03 pershare, a discount of about 20 percent to LDK's Thursday close onthe New York Stock Exchange.

** INTERNATIONAL GAME TECHNOLOGY, $17.04, down 1.5 pct (0944 ET)

The slot-games maker on Thursday reportedbetter-than-expected second-quarter results on higher revenuefrom its social gaming business, which more than doubled from ayear earlier. The company, whose stock touched a year-highyesterday, also raised its full-year 2013 forecast for adjustedprofit, prompting J.P. Morgan and another brokerage to raisetheir target price on the company's stock.

** ALTERA CORP, $32.00, down 3 pct (0945 ET)

The programmable chipmaker posted revenue slightly belowexpectations in the first quarter and said it was beginning tosee a recovery from a dip in demand from its communications andindustrial customers.

** SYNAPTICS INC, $42.59, up 11 pct (0945 ET)

The touchscreen chipmaker forecast current-quarter resultsfar above analysts' estimates on Thursday and confirmed that ithad won contracts from Samsung Electronics Co Ltd for its Galaxy S4 smartphone and Note 8 tablet.

** LOGMEIN INC, $21.12, up 18.3 pct (0945 ET)

The maker of remote-access software postedbetter-than-expected quarterly results as it won a record 37,000paying subscribers, and the company forecast second-quarterrevenue above analysts' estimates.

** INFORMATICA CORP, $35.54, up 9.9 pct (0945 ET)

** QLIK TECHNOLOGIES INC, $27.50, up 15.3 pct (0946ET)

The business software makers reported better-than-expectedquarterly revenue and raised their full-year revenue forecastsas enterprises spent more on integrating and analyzing data.

** CURIS INC, $3.65, up 7 pct (0946 ET)

** VIVUS INC, $12.78, up 2.8 pct (0946 ET)

** AVANIR PHARMACEUTICALS INC, $3.79, up 18.8 pct(0947 ET)

European health regulators on Thursday recommended approvalof Roche Holdings AG's drug Erivedge to treat peoplewith advanced forms of basal cell carcinoma, the most commonskin cancer. Curis is Roche's partner on the drug and isentitled to certain payments from it.

The European Medicines Agency experts also backed Avanir'sNuedexta to treat a neurologic disorder called pseudobulbareffect, and Vivus's erectile dysfunction drug Spedra.

** KLA-TENCOR CORP, $50.99, down 8.9 pct (0947 ET)

The chip equipment maker reported lower quarterly results onThursday and said its outlook for the rest of the year hasweakened due to manufacturers' concerns about the globaleconomy.

** HOMEX DEVELOPMENT CORP , $5.12, down 27pct (0947 ET)

The Mexican homebuilder's first-quarter profit and revenuefell sharply as it struggled with slowing home sales and arising debt load, the company said on Thursday.

** H&R BLOCK INC, $27.69, down 1.2 pct (0948 ET)

The tax preparer said its share of tax returns prepared sofar this year has remained essentially flat, compared with ayear earlier, sending its stock down 9 percent after the bell.

** MOLINA HEALTHCARE INC, $33.54, down 0.9 pct (0948ET)

The health insurer reported a first-quarter profit that wasmuch above analysts' estimates, helped by a rate increase as itsCalifornia health plan and better performance at the Florida,Texas, Ohio and Wisconsin health plans, among others.

** DECKERS OUTDOOR CORP, $56.40, down 4.9 pct (0949ET)
