Goldstone Shares Suspended Amid Administrative Error In Annual Filings

(Alliance News) - Goldstone Resources Ltd on Wednesday said its shares have been suspended from trading on London's junior AIM market.

The west and central Africa-focused gold explorer said it requested shares be suspended as the company was dissolved - effective from October 1 - by the Jersey Registrar of Companies.

Golstone said the company was dissolved as certain annual filings to the registrar were not made and certain associated fees were not paid. It added that it is investigating why the necessary actions were not taken but believes the omissions were due to an administrative error.

The company said it is currently working to get the issues resolved, assuring that it does not expect its operational progress in Ghana to be hurt.
