(Alliance News) - EVR Holdings PLC on Wednesday said the planned expansion of its MelodyVR platform to Latin America and Asia Pacific has been put on hold as it announced virtual reality alternatives to postponed events.
The virtual reality entertainment content producer noted the rise in postponement of scheduled events due to increased quarantine restrictions, adding that it is in the process of developing closed or small-scale performances delivered in real time either through the MelodyVR platform or as recorded content on-demand.
EVR Holdings said that in the past seven days, average sales on its MelodyVR platform has increased by 56%. It added that it expects the trend to continue.
The stock was trading 12% higher at 2.80 pence each on Wednesday afternoon in London.
