PCF Group PLC - London-based specialist bank - Grants another extension to the put-up-or-shut-up deadline for Castle Trust Capital PLC. Deadline extended to close of play on October 25. PCF has been in talks with Castle Trust about a possible all-share takeover.

Kingswood Holdings Ltd - London-based wealth & investment management firm - Makes a first deferred consideration payment of GBP500,000 for its acquisition of Admiral Wealth Management Ltd. Uses a portion of the cash proceeds from the issue of convertible preference to make the payment.

Tertiary Minerals PLC - Macclesfield, England-based mineral exploration and development company - Begins detailed soil sampling at Jacks copper project in Zambia. Expects to collect up to roughly 1,600 samples to be on a 200 meters times 40 meters grid.

Advanced Oncotherapy PLC - London-based provider of proton therapy for cancer treatment - Says its Light accelerator fully operational and has generated a proton beam at 230 megaelectron volts. It is the first linear proton therapy system. Expects the first patient to be treated in the second half of 2023.

Goldstone Resources Ltd - Jersey, UK-based gold development company with projects in West Africa - Receives "very encouraging" results from three diamond drill-holes at Akrokeri mine in Ghana. Says the results confirm the continuity of the mineralised zone at vertical depths of between 36 metres and 65 metres. Says the mine yielded 75,000 ounces gold at an average grade of 24 grammes per tonne. "These initial results have confirmed the nature and overall geometry of a structurally controlled mineralised channel and allow planning of the continuing drill programme with a high degree of confidence," Chief Executive Emma Priestley comments.

i3 Energy PLC - oil and gas producer in the UK and Canada - Reaches a production rate of 22,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day from 13 wells. Has drilled 20 gross wells as part of its expanded 2022 drilling programme. Expects the latter 7 wells to be fully cleaned up and on production in late October.

Block Energy PLC - London-based oil and gas company focused in Georgia - Completes the deepening of the JSR-01 well "on time, on plan, and below budgeted cost." Says this represents the start of project II, one element of its three-project strategy.

Cora Gold Ltd - West Africa-focused gold explorer - Expects the definitive feasibility study for its Sanankoro gold project in Mali to be completed in the third quarter of 2022. Says it is continuing to optimise "various aspects of the study."

Europa Oil & Gas Holdings PLC - oil and gas exploration, development, and production in UK, Ireland and Morocco - Expects the drilling activities at Serenity to be completed 30 days from spudding. Says the SA02 appraisal well and contingent side-track will help to establish the extent of the reservoir and the amount of oil in place. Enters GBP1.0 million loan with Union Jack Oil PLC to provide it with additional liquidity.

Says the company will remain focused on a number of pipeline opportunities that will support growth in the second half.

TransGlobe Energy Corp - Calgary, Canada-based oil explorer and producer - Says the government of Equatorial Guinea approved the Venus - Block P Plan of Development. "Today's update further supports the board's existing recommendation to combine with VAALCO to create a world-class African-focused E&P company with material reserves supporting sustainable shareholder returns and growth. Both the management and board continue to unanimously support the merger which is expected to deliver material benefits for TransGlobe shareholders," Chair David Cook comments.
