Ebiquity names successor to retiring chief financial officer

Mon, 17th Apr 2023 12:51

(Alliance News) - Ebiquity PLC on Monday said Julia Hubbard will be joining the board as chief financial officer, effective Sunday next week.

The London-based media and marketing consultancy said this follows the previously announced retirement of CFO & Chief Operating Officer Alan Newman, who will remain on the board as an executive director until a handover process has concluded, expected to be by the end of the June.

Ebiquity said it will benefit from Hubbard's "broad expertise" in financial roles throughout her career. It noted she is currently COO with Foundries.io Ltd, which was set up in 2019 as a global software-as-a-service business, "providing solutions for secure management and maintenance of software to manufacturers of connected devices", Ebiquity said.

Chair Rob Woodward added: "She brings strong financial leadership experience that is very relevant to Ebiquity and our growth plans."

Shares in Ebiquity were down 1.8% to 48.22 pence each in London on Monday afternoon.
