LONDON (Alliance News) - Internet domain-name seller CentralNic Group PLC on Monday said it has won a contract with San Francisco-based BRS Media to distribute the .FM domain.
The .FM domain name, to which BRS owns the rights, has been used by a number of high-profile radio brands and music artists, CentralNic said.
No financial details on the agreement were disclosed.
".FM and its affiliated domain extensions are good examples of how to succeed as 'dotIndustry' domains, with their longstanding adoption by companies who have redefined their industry, such as Last.fm. We are excited to add this group of high quality TLDs and second-level domain extensions to CentralNic's global back-end platform," said CentralNic Chief Executive Ben Crawford.
Shares in CentralNic were down 0.9% to 44.60 pence Monday.
