Cohort PLC - Reading-based defence and security markets-focussed technology - Says subsidiary MASS Consultants Ltd has won a GBP5 million contract for electronic warfare operational support services to an export customer. Adds this is a four-year extension to a contract that MASS has been undertaking for the past 15 years. Chief Executive Andrew Thomis says: "MASS's specialist expertise enables customers to get the very best out of their electronic warfare capability. This contract extension further strengthens our order book and enhances the visibility of the group's revenues in this financial year and beyond."

Expects trading performance to be ahead of the past financial year. Anticipates further progress in the next financial year, citing current orders for long-term delivery and its pipeline of opportunities. Net funds as at September 23 fall 35% to GBP7.2 million from GBP11.0 million at April 30, "reflecting the timing of working capital flows," firm explains.

IN BRIEF: Cohort subsidiary wins GBP34 million contract with UK MoD

Cohort PLC - Reading-based defence and security markets-focussed technology - Says its subsidiary Systems Engineering & Assessment Ltd has won a new contract worth around GBP34 million with the UK Ministry of Defence. Under the agreement, SEA will provide systems and equipment upgrade of the anti-submarine warfare and countermeasures systems on some of the platforms "crucial" to the Royal Navy. It will also provide in-service support for these systems across the naval fleet for a period of five years with the option to further extend for two years.

(Sharecast News) - Technology company Cohort has completed a renewal of its banking facility, it announced on Tuesday.

IN BRIEF: Cohort extends banking facility, adds Commerzbank as lender

Cohort PLC - Reading, England-based defence and security markets-focussed technology company - Extends banking facility to a GBP50 million facility which will run for three years to July 2025, with the option to extend it for a further two years. The previous facility was for GBP40 million and was due to expire in November of this year. The syndicate of banks providing the facility has also been extended with the addition of Commerzbank AG to NatWest Group PLC and Lloyds Banking Group PLC.
