IN BRIEF: Cohort's MASS secures contract extension worth GBP5 million

Cohort PLC - Reading, England-based technology company with five businesses serving defence and security sectors - Says that its subsidiary MASS has been awarded an extension to a contract to provide software development, modelling and countermeasures services to the UK Ministry of Defence.

The contract is valued at GBP5 million for a period of 2 years.

Chief Executive Andrew Thomis says: "We are delighted that MASS has won a further extension to this contract, demonstrating once again that MASS is trusted to deliver demanding and critical electronic warfare operational support services."

Current stock price: 468.88 pence, up 0.9% in London on Thursday morning
