SINGAPORE, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Shell on Friday sold a
liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo for late January delivery to
BP at $8 per million British thermal units (mmBtu),
according to data from S&P Global Platts.
The trade took place during Platts' trading period known as
market-on-close (MOC).
This is the highest level for spot LNG prices <LNG-AS> since
late January 2019, Refinitiv data showed.
Asian spot LNG prices have rebounded from record lows hit
earlier in the year, due to demand for heating during winter and
supply issues, trade sources said.
