Refinery Status: Valero Benicia Coker Shut For Unplanned Work

The information is compiled from both official and unofficial refining sources and doesn't purport to be a comprehensive list. Valero Energy Corp. (VLO) Monday said that a coker unit at its Benicia, California, refinery was shut over the June 19-20 weekend for unplanned maintenance following two reportable emission events on Thursday. There is not restart estimate. Valero Energy Corp. said Monday that planned maintenance got underway over the June 19-20 weekend to de-coke a coker unit at complex 7 of the east plant section of its Corpus Christi, Texas, refinery. That work will last several days. Valero Energy Corp. restarted a small crude units at its Paulsboro, New Jersey, refinery over the June 19-20 weekend, the co said Monday.
