April 17 (Reuters) - An explosion near South Africa's SAPREFoil refinery in Durban injured three people on Friday evening,but has been brought under control, according to an official atthe plant.
The official said the explosion occurred outside the groundsof the 172,000 barrel per day (bpd) refinery, which is co-ownedby Royal Dutch Shell and BP. She said thesituation was "under control."
