HOUSTON, Aug 28 (Reuters) - A Wednesday night fire at BPPlc's Whiting, Indiana refinery, the company's largestU.S. plant, was confined to a hydrotreating unit for agasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracking unit, trade andindustry sources said on Thursday.
BP early on Thursday said production continued at the413,500 barrel per day (bpd) refinery during the two hours ittook to extinguish the blaze. The company has said it expectsminimal impact to production from the fire.
