SINGAPORE, May 9 (Reuters) - BP said on Friday itwould complete regular maintenance at its Kwinana refinery onAustralia's western coast by late June.
"Maintenance generally lasts two months," the spokesman saidin an email, adding that there would be no material change tothe refinery's crude slate or throughput.
"BP's ongoing investment in Kwinana is a sign of thecompany's commitment to refining in Australia," the spokesmansaid.
The 146,000 barrel-per-day Kwinana refinery remained a keypart of the company's growth strategy in Australia, despite itsannouncement to permanently shut its Bulwer refinery bymid-2015. (Reporting by Florence Tan; Editing by Clarence Fernandez)
