EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Countryside Properties and musicMagpie poach CFOs

Tue, 16th Nov 2021 14:35

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Countryside Properties PLC - Brentwood, Essex-based housebuilder - Hires Tim Lawlor as new chief financial officer, starting on March 28, 2022. Lawlor currently is CFO of logistics firm Wincanton PLC, which said that Lawlor will depart in March next year and that it has started the search for a successor. At Countryside, Lawlor replaces Mike Scott, who similarly was poached from Countryside by larger peer Barratt Developments PLC to be its CFO, replacing Jessica White. Tom Wright was recruited by Countryside last month to be interim CFO starting on November 30.

----------

musicMagpie PLC - Manchester-based used technology reseller - Hires Matthew Fowler as CFO, following Ian Storey's promotion to chief operating officer from CFO. Fowler joins at a date to be set from molecular diagnostics firm genedrive PLC, where has been CFO for five years, previous to which he was financial controller of former AIM listing Scapa Group PLC. genedrive says a search for a successor will begin.

----------

Stanley Gibbons Group PLC - London-based collectable postage stamps retailer - Hires Kevin Fitzpatrick as CFO, effective immediately, replacing Anthony Gee, who steps down at the same time as CFO, director and company secretary. Fitzpatric was CFO for Arise Media & Technology, a privately owned company.

----------

Directa Plus PLC - London-based producer of graphene nanoplatelets - Promotes CFO Giorgio Bonfanti to board, effective immediately. Bonfanti joined Directa Plus back in May, having worked at accountants PwC since 2014.

----------

SolGold PLC - Brisbane, Australia-based developer of copper-gold deposits in Ecuador - Hires Darryl Cuzzubbo to be managing director and chief executive officer, joining the board immediately and becoming CEO on December 1. Cuzzubbo was chief manufacturing & supply officer president of Auspac Asia at commercial explosives provider Orica Pty Ltd, prior to which he was with miner BHP Group PLC.

----------

JD Sports Fashion PLC - Bury, Lancashire-based sports and outdoor apparel retailer - Hires Helen Ashton as non-executive director, starting this past Monday. Ashton was CFO of online retailer ASOS PLC.

As an executive, Yates was CEO of asset manager Henderson Group PLC for 10 years.

----------

ITM Power PLC - Sheffield-based hydrogen power equipment maker - Tom Rae resigns as non-executive director.
