IN BRIEF: Active Energy To Convert GBP650,000 Loan Notes Into Shares

Active Energy Group PLC - London-headquartered biomass-based renewable energy business - Announces that holders of its convertible loan notes have elected to convert the loan notes with a nominal value of GBP650,545 into new shares of 0.01 pence each, with 65 million new shares issued to loan note holders. Says an application will be made for the conversion shares to be admitted to trading on AIM no later than 30 days after the conversion notice date and following this, Active Energy's share capital will comprise 1.61 billion shares.

Current stock price: 1.35 pence

Year-to-date change: down 3.5%
