Shares in Azerbaijan-focused gold and copper miner Anglo Asian Mining fell back after extreme winter weather held back production in the first quarter of 2011.The company produced 14,028 ounces of gold from its Gedabek mine, which is near Azerbaijan's second city Ganja, 3% higher than the same period the previous year but down from the fourth quarter of 2010."Extreme winter weather conditions over the recent months at Gedabek have resulted in leaching becoming sluggish," the company said."Our target of producing a minimum 60,000 ounces of gold by the end of 2011 is highly achievable," said chief executive Reza Vaziri.RG
