LONDON (Alliance News) - Equiniti Group PLC on Wednesday said it completed its work managing the processing of Takeda Pharmaceutical Co Ltd's acquisition of Shire PLC, a deal which involved "breaking multiple records as the biggest corporate action in Japanese history".
Equiniti, which provides financial administration services, managed the GBP46 billion merger of the the Japanese and Irish pharmaceutical giants, which was completed last week.
"The transaction was one of the most complex cross-border schemes of arrangement ever completed, particularly around the collection of shareholders instructions," Equiniti said.
Equiniti shares were trading down 0.2% at 215.00 pence.
